CCXP Cologne the new Comic Con Experience in Cologne
A new great trade fair will take place in Cologne from June 27th to 30th 2019: The CCXP Cologne Comic Con Experience is the new festival for pop culture and entertainment.
For four days there will be an event in Cologne-Deutz that serial fans, music and book fans and also comic lovers and of course film fans should not miss. The new fair is intended to attract more than 80,000 visitors and brings well over 200 artists from the comic scene and more than 80 exhibitors to the cathedral city. There are also supposed to be visits by some Hollywood stars. Large exhibitor companies are e.g. the Iron Studios, Warner or the Universal Pictures.
What is the CCXP Cologne?
The so-called CCXP Cologne Comic Con Experience is based on an event concept of the Brazilian Omelete group and this will now take place in Cologne for the first time. The event takes place in the fair in Cologne-Deutz. The Role Play Convention, which has previously taken place in the exhibition halls in Deutz, is simply integrated into the new, large Comic Con Experience.
An event on 65,000 square meters of exhibition space
Well-known comic artists, cosplayers, film stars and music artists await you in halls 6 to 8 and also in the north of the CongressCentrum and inspire you on an exhibition area of over 65,000 square meters. The so-called pop culture big event CCXP is supposed to be a fantastic event for film fans.
Cosplay, Harry Potter and Batman
There will probably be two big highlights for the fans, but a final decision is still pending. The "Harry Potter Experience area" is intended to lure numerous fans into the exhibition hall and inspire them with many authentic replicas from the films. Batman is also celebrating its 80th birthday at the trade fair.
Many fans of anime, role-playing and cosplay will be thrilled to see their stars in the "Cosplay universe". In addition, many creative artists show how the individual characters from the fantasy worlds are brought to life. Since the Roleplay Convention is integrated, a large medieval market and various workshops on the subject should not be missing. The so-called "Roleplay Award" will then be presented.
It's supposed to be the biggest pop culture event in Europe

Of course, the city of Cologne and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia also benefit from this. The integration of the Role Play Convention should result in a strong synergy effect.
