The Strundet Valley Festival of 2019 in the beautiful Bergisches Land

What is there to see?

The children can enjoy a puppet show. Puppet games are an exciting thing for kids, and the Minna drumming tells of exciting adventures. The magician Mike appears in the Strundet valley and inspires big and small. A "living tree" can be admired and elves are to be seen. Fairytale fairies are also to be found in the valley. Birds of prey raise their wings in the valley and the fortune-teller glances into her crystal ball and into the cards.

At the festival, you can learn about numerous clubs and companies. Institutions tell about their tasks and make their goals known to the interested public. In the city archive many different magazines are presented. Of course, books can also be found and admired here. The Bergische Geschichtsverein also has books to offer. At the Strundetal-Fest some bands play. You can listen to these on different stages. Among the bands is the Hanank Band from Cologne. Bruce Kapusta, a trumpeter, will also play. Music and entertainment are taken care of at the Strundet Valley Festival.

The children can participate in various activities. You can make lotus flowers, which fits well into the fairytale kingdom. Even on horseback, they can take a seat and enjoy smaller rides. When children make-up children are transformed into fantastic fairy tale characters. At the festival is also a bouncy castle to let off steam.

The stomach will be pleased with the fairy-tale selection and certainly not growl. The Strundet valley is a romantic idyll and made for the fairytale world. The car traffic will be closed on this day, the 1st of September 2019. A vintage car completes this idyll, which drives the guests along the roadside. In addition, can be taken in carriages and planed cars. This does not take you every day and reminds you of times long past. The festival begins at eleven o'clock and the opening takes place at the village square of Herrenstrunden. Wolfgang Bosbach (MdB a.D.) takes over the patronage at this festival.
