The churchyard at Sankt Servatius

Everyone knows cemeteries. But there is something very special in Immendorf: a so-called churchyard. This was created around the church of Sankt Servatius and is a real rarity in Cologne. When the faithful want to go to worship, they always go through the churchyard and commemorate the dead. The community is proud of this cemetery and cares for it! In October 2019 there was a gruesome accident in Immendorf. The fire department therefore had to cut two women out of their cars!

According to the police accident report, a woman got off the road with her BMW and collided head-on (in oncoming traffic) with a Ford Focus. Both women were seriously injured and could only be freed from the cars by the fire department cutting open the cars!

Cologne is growing

November 2019: The city of Cologne wanted to act secretly and advise the decision about future, new construction areas quietly and secretly. However, the council committee prevented this and informed the district representatives concerned. A total of 820 hectares of green space and also arable land should become building land!
