History

A settlement has been documented since the Hallstatt period (1000 and 500 BC). The renaming

Thurn-Strunden was renamed Dellbrück. The name was changed on June 23, 1905. Nevertheless, the old name Thurn-Strunden still exists. The district name "Thurn-Strunden" is still used in the property register. There are four mills in the district of Dellbrück that use hydropower. Manfred Faber was murdered in Auschwitz. 181 single-family houses belong to this settlement and it was built in the area of ​​the former Iddelsfeld estate. The houses were intended to be rented for the residents. In order to do justice to the name of the settlement, there are street names like "Märchenstraße" or "Aschenbrödelweg". Vegetable growing and small animal husbandry were considered for the working families. Almost all houses in this settlement are listed buildings.
