Individuals of Turkish descent bought some apartment blocks. Then there was renovation work. From 1994, the HöVi-Land holiday leisure time was organized for children and young people for the socially disadvantaged. This always takes place in the first three weeks of the summer vacation near the Vingster swimming pool. The participation fee is only 15 euros per child per week. A professional start-up aid and drug counseling were also set up from this organization. In 2004 the Germania settlement was renovated.
